Results

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Bulldog women's tennis team fell 9-0 at Saint Mary's on Thursday afternoon and will now await a seeding in the MIAA Tournament which is set to begin on Friday, April 25. Adrian finished the regular season with a 5-12 overall record and a 2-6 mark in the MIAA. The Bulldogs are currently seventh in the MIAA standings with other schools still needing to play a couple of matches.

The doubles play began on a sour note as Katie MacFarlan and Leeann Brooks dropped an 8-0 decision at two doubles. Emily Brede and Chrissy Kuss did not fare any better with an 8-0 loss at three doubles. Robyn Bahr and Katelyn Simcina managed to win four games at one doubles against Camille Gebert and Jillian Hurley.

Saint Mary's (8-9, 3-3 MIAA) had little trouble closing out the shutout in singles play. Simcina did the best of keeping her matchup close with a 6-3, 6-3 loss at one singles against Gebert. The rest of the Bulldogs won just eight games.
