Final Stats

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's soccer team matched their win total of 2007 in just their seventh match of 2008 on Friday night with a 1-0 win over visiting Manchester College. Lindsay Chitwood continues to be the main scoring threat for the Bulldogs as she scored her sixth goal of the season just 23 seconds into the second half for the game's lone goal. The goal was assisted by Cody McDonald and came on a breakaway from just inside the box.

Adrian finished the night with a big edge in shots, 15-4, but just three of those shots were on net. Steffeny Burns needed to make just one save to pickup her fourth win in goal for the Bulldogs. Chitwood had nine total shots to lead the team.
