The men's tennis team could not get their first win in the conference as they fell 9-0 to Albion on Wednesday at the Merillat Center. The Bulldogs are currently 2-14 overall and are 0-3 in the MIAA.
Orlo Yeagley and Anthony Honeywell had the best showing at one doubles with an 8-5 decision against Ben Miller and Chris Atallah. The other two matchups yielded just one game for the Bulldogs.
Albion had straight set wins except for five singles as Dominic Merollis extended the matchup with a 6-4 win in the first set. Johnny Vinson rattled off a 6-1 second set and then a 10-7 super tiebreaker in the third set. Honeywell had a tough first set, 6-0, at three singles against Chris Tapping but rebounded to a 7-5 second set.
