Softball Earns Split for Third Straight Day

ORLANDO, Fla. - The softball team was up and at it this morning as they played a pair of early games in day three at the Rebel Spring Games in the Orlando area. The Bulldogs dropped a 4-0 decision to Missouri Baptist and then defeated Waynesburg 12-2.

Adrian (3-3) got a solid effort in the circle in game two from freshman Jessie Plague. She got her first win in her first complete game for the Bulldogs. She threw five innings against Waynesburg and struck out seven with three walks. Plague allowed a pair of hits (single and double).

Senior Jenna Kloster had a huge day offensively as she went 3-for-4 with six RBI's. She collected a triple on the day and also scored a run. Sarah Hall went 2-for-3 with a run scored and double in game two. Kristin Toney scored a pair of runs as did Katie Adams, Rachel Batman and Meghan Stevens.

Kelly Eberhardt threw a complete game against Missouri Baptist and gave up one earned run. She had a pair of strikeouts and gave up 10 hits. Adrian had just three hits against Missouri Baptist coming from Adams, Stevens and Toney.
