ADRIAN, Mich. – During every homecoming weekend, Adrian College inducts a new class of Bulldogs into the Hall of Fame. Throughout the week, we will highlight the Class of 2026 and the accomplishments each of them made during their time at Adrian College.
On October 3, 2026, Adrian College will honor Kelly Tomasek Stevenson, Class of 2011, whose dominant career in the circle helped lead the Adrian College softball program to success on the conference and national stage.
A native of Linden, Michigan, Stevenson made an immediate impact for the Bulldogs, earning Second Team All-MIAA honors as a freshman during the 2008 season. She followed with a standout sophomore campaign in 2009, establishing herself as one of the top pitchers in NCAA Division III. Stevenson finished the season with a 22-3 record and a 0.83 ERA while recording 159 strikeouts in 152 innings. She also tossed seven complete-game shutouts and was named the Louisville Slugger National Pitcher of the Week during the season.
Stevenson's performance earned her MIAA Pitcher of the Year honors as she helped lead Adrian to a 34-8 overall record. In conference play, she posted an 8-1 record with a conference-leading 0.88 ERA. She also led the MIAA with 62 strikeouts and a .180 opponent batting average. At the conclusion of the season, Stevenson was named First Team All-Central Region and capped off the year by earning NFCA Third Team All-American honors.
The Bulldogs finished second in the MIAA standings during the 2009 season and earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Tournament, completing one of the most successful seasons in program history.
Stevenson also found success in the classroom during her time at Adrian as a member of the biological honor society. Following her graduation from Adrian in 2011, she continued her education at the University of Michigan-Flint, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Stevenson currently works for Corewell Health as an RN Clinical Data Specialist. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys camping and spending time as a sports mom for her two sons. Stevenson and her husband, Zachary, have two children, Elliot and Jude.
In addition to the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday night, the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be honored on the field before the Homecoming football game on Saturday.
