ADRIAN, Mich. - The Lady Bulldogs opened the conference season with a 7-2 loss to powerhouse Kalamazoo College on Monday at the Craft Tennis Complex.

Sarah Kean and Shannon Woods were winners in singles play as Kean won in three sets at five singles and Woods won in straight sets at six singles. Kean won 6-2 in the first set and then fell 7-5 in the second set. Kean then won 10-5 in the super tiebreaker. Woods had no troubles with a 6-0, 6-0 over Monika Egerer.
