HOLLAND, Mich. - The women's tennis team was looking to even its MIAA record (6-9, 2-4) at Hope on Monday but the Flying Dutch had other plans as AC fell 8-1.

Robyn Denney got Adrian's point at one singles as she defeated Hope's top flighter Alyssa Austin, 6-4, 6-3. Hope won the other five singles matchups in straight sets.

Hope also took control of the match after three doubles wins to start things. Adrian managed to win just three games in three matchups.
