Kelly Eberhardt was a factor in Hope only recording two hits. Eberhardt threw a complete game and struck out six batters. She picked up her 18th win in the circle.

Game two was much closer. The game changer came in the top of the seventh inning when AC broke the 4-4 tie off an RBI single from Kristen Toney. Stevens led off the inning and reached base by being walked. Jenna Kloster laid down a sacrifice bunt advancing Stevens to second. Hope allowed Stevens to reach third on a wild pitch. Toney took full advantage of her opportunity as she had the game-winning RBI for Adrian.
