GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 match at Calvin College on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs are now 5-9 overall and 2-4 in the MIAA.

Adrian got their point at three doubles with a 9-7 win as Jordenne Ferenczi and Sarah Brooks bested Lauren Schlagenhauf and Bethany Zoerhof. The two doubles matchup of Michelle Busscher and Elise Doezema versus Sarah Kean and Shelby Kruszewski went to Calvin 8-6.

The Knights won all six singles matches with Adrian having the most success in the bottom half of the lineup. Ferenczi won her first set 6-0 at five singles but then fell 7-5, 10-4 to Jordan Ipema. Doezema and Sarah Sokolowski had a spirited match at six singles with Doezema winning 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
