HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Adrian College women's lacrosse team lost 13-9 against #19 Christopher Newport on Friday at a neutral site for their first loss of the season (3-1). CNU is now 5-1 overall.

CNU jumped ahead 5-1 in the first half and never trailed in the contest. Maddie McDonald made seven saves for the Bulldogs and has played every game in net this season. Olivia Duncan scored three goals and added one assist. Stacey Birlson scored a goal and had two assists. Hannah Early scored twice and also had an assist with five draw controls. Cassie Hoyez had a goal and finished with three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
