FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - At the conclusion of the 2025 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's lacrosse regular season, head coaches from the MIAA's eight member institutions that sponsor women's lacrosse voted on the All-MIAA awards.
Adrian College women's lacrosse proudly placed two student-athletes on the All-MIAA Second Team, with sophomore attacker
Madeline Turcotte and senior defender
Mey Sun earning the prestigious honors for their standout performances during the 2025 season.
Turcotte, in her first season with the Bulldogs, made an immediate impact on the field. She led Adrian to a 12-5 overall record and a 3-4 mark in MIAA play, establishing herself as the team's offensive catalyst. Turcotte topped the stat sheet in goals, assists, points, and draw controls. Across the conference, she led the MIAA in both assists and points per game, while also ranking second in draw controls per game, sixth in shots per game, and eighth in goals per game. Her dynamic play and versatility made her one of the most complete attackers in the league and a key contributor to Adrian's success this year.
On the defensive end, senior
Mey Sun anchored the Bulldogs' backfield with veteran leadership and relentless energy. She tallied two goals, collected 30 ground balls, and caused 36 turnovers, ranking second in the conference in caused turnovers.
Sun's legacy is firmly cemented in program history as the all-time leader in caused turnovers and fifth all-time in ground balls. She also ranked fourth in single-season caused turnovers, further solidifying her status as one of the best defenders to ever wear the black and gold.
Turcotte and Sun and the rest of the women's lacrosse squad are gearing up to play in the semifinal game tonight in Holland, Michigan as they face Hope College at 7:00 PM.
