ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's volleyball team have an 0-3 start in conference play following a 3-0 (25-7, 25-13, 25-21) defeat at the hands Lakeland on Friday night at the Merillat Sports/Fitness Center. Michael Burkhardt led the team with five kills, one assist and one solo block. He was the only Bulldog player to have positive attack percentage at .308.

Adrian had a team attack percentage in the negatives for every set (-.067, -.250, -.032). That is the third straight game that the Bulldogs (0-7, 0-3 MCVL) have had negative percentages in every set of a match.

The Muskies were led offensively by Tim Robbins and Dan Matijevic with six kills each. The offense was paced Michael Quiroz (20 assists) and Addison Mertler (11 assists).

Joseph Deets paced the Bulldogs with 12 assists.  Austin Hinojos led the Adrian defense, recording seven digs in the match.

The Bulldogs host Marian (Wis.) Saturday (Feb. 13) morning at 9:30 a.m.
