HOW IT HAPPENED

Caroline Fleming scored in the 18th minute after a foul on a St. Mary's player in the box that allowed for a penalty kick chance to put the Bulldogs up 1-0.

Adrian outshot the Belles 14-1 in the first half but was only able to score on the penalty kick attempt. The Bulldogs also held advantages in corner kicks 4-1 in the first half.

The second half went much like the first with Adrian outshooting St. Mary's 17-0, but the only score in the second half happened after another Belle penalty in the box that had Kirsten Chambers taking the second penalty kick attempt and scoring.

Ayverie Giller made one save to preserve the shutout, her seventh of the season.

QUOTES

"It took us a while to find our rhythm, but we were able to get the win, earn a shutout, and rest a few of our starters, so it's a success from all angles.  We'll use the next two days to prepare for the tournament and keep this season going as long as we possibly can." - Head Coach Ali Alamdari
