Box Score HARTFORD, Conn.--Senior captain Mathew Thompson scored two power-play goals and junior netminder Kevin Entmaa recorded a season-high 37 saves to power Adrian College to a 4-1 non-conference win at Trinity-Conn. in a battle of top-10 nationally-ranked NCAA Division III men's hockey powers.

= Connor Hegarty scored Trinity's lone goal.
= Alex Morin (L, 4-2-2) had 23 saves.
= Anthony Sabitsky was strong in the face-off circle, winning 22 of 27 draws.
= James Callahan led all skaters with seven shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Thompson scored what proved to be the game-winning goal on the power play just 40 seconds into the second period to give Adrian a 2-0 advantage.
= Junior defenseman Braden Hellems and Thompson added power-play markers for insurance in the third period. Hellems scored his third goal of the season with 8 minutes and 1 second remaining, with Balsamo and Dunn credited with the assists. Then with 38 seconds left, Thompson scored on a feed from senior assistant captain Taylor McCloy.
= Sophomore Ryan Cusin gave Adrian a 1-0 lead at 12:27 mark of the first period, as Hellems and Dunn assisted on the play.
= Entmaa lost his shutout bid late in the third when Dylan Healey and Anthony Sabitsky assisted on Hegarty's first goal of the season.
= The Bulldogs were 3-for-7 on the power-play and they killed off all five Bantams extra-man advantage.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Both teams made it to the national semifinals last March in Utica, N.Y. Trinity lost to Norwich in the 2017 NCAA championship game.
= Adrian and Trinity met in the 2015 NCAA Semifinals in Minneapolis, Minn.
= The Bantams hold a 2-1 lead in the all-time series and tonight's meeting was the first on Trinity's home ice. The Bantams won 2-1 in Adrian last season.
