ORLANDO--The Adrian College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 non-league decision to Hanover College here at the USTA Center on Monday, starting its spring break trip in the Sunshine State. The Panthers out of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference improve to 12-4 during the 2017-18 season, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-5.

Sophomore Samantha Cyrus and Cami Jones battled in 86-degree, sunny weather, but it was the latter who prevailed in a No. 2 singles matchup, 6-2, 7-5.

All three Adrian doubles matches went by identical 8-4 scores.

Adrian returns to the court on Tuesday (3:30 p.m.) against another HCAC opponent at the USTA Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to have live video carried by USTA National Campus.
