Men's Wrestling Embraces Test at Mount Union Invitational as Freshmen Gain Invaluable Experience

ALLIANCE, Ohio--The Adrian College men's wrestling squad placed 16 student-athletes at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday at Peterson Field House. The event featured over 10 teams including NCAA Division II scholarship programs.

Sophomore Spencer Sillman and freshman Dylan Wellbaum won individual titles at 166 and 175 pounds in the freshman division to pace the Bulldogs, while reigning Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Wrestler of the Week junior Noah Nieman continued his strong start to the 2019-20 season by finishing in third place in a competitive 149-pound open division.
