Men's Tennis Falls to Wabash in Nightcap

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Adrian College men's tennis team dropped the late match on Monday, March 4, falling to Wabash College 6-3.

Adrian came away with one point in doubles play, with juniors Nathan Waterbury and Tanner Wilcox winning 8-4 at two doubles. Junior Nolan Duda and freshman Cameron Rafinski put up a fight at the three spot, losing 6-8.

Sophomore Jovanni Wagner-Payne was able to get the Bulldogs on the board in singles action, cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the five spot, for one of Adrian's two singles wins in the match. AC's final point of the match came from junior Kyle Haines at the five spot, winning 7-6(4), 7-5. Haines was involved in two close matches on Monday, as he lost in a third-set tiebreaker in the earlier match against DeSales.

Adrian is back in action tomorrow, taking on Coe in the morning and then Wentworth at 7 p.m.
