Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team started their weekend trip to New York with a 3-0 sweep over The Sage Colleges Gators. The Bulldogs rallied late in set one to win 26-24 and won set two 25-18 and set three 25-18. Noah Marcinkowski finished with 20 kills and Mason Hostetler finished with four blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The match started with a 7-7 tie to kick off set one. The Bulldogs went on a 7-1 run to take a 15-8 lead with the help of two service aces from Kevin Curley. Sage came back and took a 21-19 lead after a 12-3 run and forced an Adrian timeout. An attack error by the Bulldogs put Sage within one point of taking set one, but the team came back and tied the set on a kill by Lucas Rusnak. Back-to-back Sage attack errors gave Adrian set one.
The Bulldogs jumped up 10-7 in set two led by kills from Marcinkowski. Adrian sparked a 7-2 run on three kills from Marcinkowski to lead 16-9. Sage stayed in the game and kept the score to within four, but Adrian went on a 5-0 run to take a nine-point lead and bring them to within one point of a set two win. Sage scored on the next three serves to force an Adrian timeout. A kill by Marcinkowski following the timeout gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 match lead.
Multiple attack errors by Adrian gave Sage a 10-7 lead in set three. The Bulldogs started their comeback and added more on a 10-3 run led by Marcinkowski, Rusnak, Hostetler, and Curley. After leading 17-13, Sage brought the Bulldog lead to within two and brought the set to 20-18. Adrian scored on the next five serves due to four Sage errors. The Bulldogs took set three 25-18 and won the match 3-0.
