TECUMSEH, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's golf team played host to MIAA Jamboree #3. The Bulldogs went on to place third out of eight teams at their home golf course on Saturday afternoon finishing with a 307.
Adrian was led by
Hendrik de Koning and Joseph Renfer who each shot a 76 for the Bulldogs.
Joe Kowatch finished the day with a 77 followed by a 78 from
Trevor Benoit.
Ryan Van Eyk finished the day with an 80 to round out the starting five.Â
The Bulldogs played multiple individuals at their home course today.
Gabe Campbell shot a 77 for Adrian while
Christian Long shot an 81 and
Shane Heiser shot an 83.
Harrison Hiller finished the day with an 88 with
Connor May shooting a 92 and
Vince Lafata shooting a 104.
Adrian sits in fourth in the MIAA standings after three rounds with a 622. The Bulldogs trail Calvin University by three strokes and second place Trine by ten strokes. Hope College currently leads the conference with a 595.
The Bulldogs will look to continue its comeback at the fourth MIAA Jamboree scheduled for Monday, October 10 hosted by Kalamazoo. The Jamboree will tee off at 1:00 PM.
