EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team made the trip to eastern Pennsylvania to take on East Stroudsburg University. Due to COVID-19, this was the first home meet for East Stroudsburg in program history since the program was developed two seasons ago. The Bulldogs went on to blow out East Stroudsburg by a score of 236.245-198.535.
Adrian lost one event the whole night falling in the compulsory 31.450-31.000. It was smooth sailing the rest of the way for the Bulldogs. Adrian won the acro portion of the event 25.950-21.700 with the help of a 9.2 in the second heat. Adrian won the pyramid rount with all three heat scores coming in at 9.2 or higher.Â
The Bulldogs went on to the toss event where they won the round 24.350-23.050. All of Adrian's scores came in above an 8.0. In the six heat toss event, Adrian picked up another victory by a score of 41.625-33.225 to extend the team's lead heading into the team event.Â
The Bulldogs crushed East Stroudsburg in the team event winning by 23 points. The Bulldogs put up 85.32 points against East Stroudsburg's 62.61 points.
Adrian will return home where they will go on to host Davis and Elkins College on Monday, March 7 at 6:00 PM.
