Fox Returns to MIAA as Adrian Head NCAA Softball Coach

ADRIAN, Mich. – Athletic Director Craig Rainey announced the hiring of Kaylee Fox as the new head softball coach at Adrian College. Fox is a 2018 graduate of Trine University where she received a bachelor's degree in sport management. She went on to earn a master's degree from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri.

Fox earned multiple accolades during her time as a player at Trine. She was a three-time All-MIAA selection and earned First Team All-Region honors three times. In 2015 she was voted Third Team All-American and was later named First Team All-American in 2018. For the Thunder, she holds the career record for home runs (62), slugging percentage (.786), and runs batted in (206). After college she went on to play in the inaugural season of the ASBA Professional Softball Lead where she earned First Team All-ASBA honors in 2019.

She began coaching college softball in 2019 at the University of Minnesota Duluth where she served as an assistant. During her time at Minnesota Duluth, Fox increased the team's batting average, slugging percentage, and on base percentage by more than 40 points each.

Fox spent the 2021 season as an assistant coaching a Muskingum University where the team also improved it's hitting.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to join Adrian," noted Fox. "Being back in the MIAA is something I am looking forward to. I cannot wait to start this journey with this team and see what we can build together!"

Fox will begin her coaching responsibilities immediately where she will prepare for the team's nontraditional fall season.
