ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team hosted The College of Wooster on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs got back on the winning track after a pair of first half goals to take down the Scots 2-1.

Kelsey Zoli recorded an assist on Adrian's first goal.
Josie Huber scored a goal just over a minute later to take a 2-1 lead.
The second half went scoreless for both teams to allow Adrian to lock up the victory. The Bulldogs recorded eight shots on the afternoon with four on goal while Wooster finished with six shots and three on goal.
Taylor Fischer had another light day in goal goal facing three shots on goal while making a pair of saves.
"Wooster has become a game that we always look forward to on the schedule," said head coach
Ali Alamdari. "It's always a hard-fought physical game that resembles the intensity of a conference matchup. We've been out-possessing and out-shooting opponents in every game this year, but today we had that next level of execution in the moments that defined the result. We had to constantly push through the adversity that a match like this brings, and in the end it's a well-deserved win against a quality opponent."
The Bulldogs will have a couple of days off before hitting the field again on Wednesday when they host the University of Michigan-Dearborn at 7:00 PM.
