WEST OLIVE, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's golf team competed in the first MIAA Jamboree of the season. The Bulldogs placed fourth shooting a 318 behind hope train and Calvin.

Hendrik de Koning lead the team shooting a 76 for Adrian followed by Trevor Benoit shooting a 79. Joe Renfer a shot an 80 for the Bulldogs while Joe Kowatch finished the day with an 83 to round out the team score. Ryan Van Eyk struggled with the tough windy conditions and finished the day with a 96.

Gabe Campbell played as an individual for Adrian and shot an 80.

"We struggled in the tough conditions and didn't finish with the score we wanted," said head coach Brent Greenwood. "There is still plenty of golf to play."

Adrian will return to the course on the road at the second MIAA Jamboree of the season hosted by Alma College. The jamboree will tee off at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 1.
