"We fought hard today while not playing our best," said head coach Brent Greenwood after day two of the tournament. "A lot of guys showed grit after rough starts to the day which will benefit us greatly in the future. Anytime you can shoot in the 500's for a two-day, there's nothing to hang your head about, especially when it is the first tournament of the year. We had a great weekend, and I am excited for what's in store for the rest of the fall.
Trine went on to be the only team to beat Adrian in the two-day tournament finishing six strokes better.
The Bulldogs will take a week off and will return to action at home as Adrian will host a two-day tournament on September 15 and 16.
