FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Adrian College track and field team had a successful start to their indoor season at Indiana Tech on Friday.
Freshman
Michael Wright ran the fifth fastest time in Adrian College history in his 60m debut with a time of 7.07.Â
Asher Cousino ran a personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.71.
In the men's 800m,
Alec Grzegorek finished in first place with a time of 1:59.00 with his teammate
Ethan Handley right behind him in second with a time of 2:01.27.
In the men's 200m, Wright took home first place with a time of 22.39.
Grant Clemens finished in ninth place with a time of 51.89 in the 400m.
Weston Kvalevog competed in multiple events throughout the meet where he tied for third in the men's high jump with a jump of 1.99 and placed fourth in the men's 600m with a time of 1:24.55. With that time he would set the school record in the men's 600m.
Cailey Beaudoin took home first place in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.65.
Emme Koutz would finish in second place in the women's 3k, but she would set a new school record with a time of 10:34.29.
Will Houvener placed third in the men's 3k with a time of 9:05.70 while
Caleb Billings finished in fifth place with a time of 9:20.04.
The Bulldogs will compete next in the new year on Saturday, January 13 hosted by Trine University!
