Acrobatics and Tumbling Ends Season at Division III Nationals

BELTON, Texas – The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team finished its season at the Division III Nationals hosted by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Bulldogs entered as the fifth seed in the tournament where they saw a first round exit before the Event Finals.
 
Adrian started the weekend with a meet against Trine University losing 240.25-216.475. Adrian totaled a 27.45 in the compulsory round followed by a 20.75 in the acro event. The Bulldogs added 27.60 points after the pyramid along with 27.60 in the toss. In the tumbling event, the Bulldogs scored 44.075 and concluded with 73.15 points in the team event.
 
Adrian qualified for four Event Finals that competed on Saturday. Adrian competed in the Five Element Acro, the Inversion Pyramid, the Duo Toss, and the Six Element Pass. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they were unable to win the events.
 
The 2023 Acrobatics and Tumbling season comes to an end after the Division III Nationals. Adrian will return next season for the 2024 campaign.
