ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Adrian College men's golf team traveled to Trine University on Tuesday afternoon for a tune-up at the AC Eddy Invitational before this weekend's final two rounds of the MIAA Automatic Qualifier. The Bulldogs went on to place second out of 10 teams totaling a team score of 297.

Joe Kowatch led the Bulldogs on Tuesday finishing with a 71 and tying for second as an individual. Hendrik de Koning tied for sixth in the field after shooting a 74. Joe Renfer and Trevor Benoit each shot 76 for Adrian while Ryan Van Eyk shot 79 to round out the starting five. Gabe Campbell played as an individual where he shot 81 on the afternoon.

The Bulldogs will travel to Holland, Michigan this weekend where they will play the final two rounds of the MIAA Automatic Qualifier hosted by Hope College. The Bulldogs sit in second place trailing by 13 strokes. Friday's round will tee off from Wuskowhan at 1:00 PM followed by the final round on Saturday.
