HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Adrian College track and field team was on the road competing in the Hillsdale Tune Up on Saturday afternoon. The women would place second out of four teams and the men would place third out of seven teams.
In the women's high jump
Ciara Heslet would place second with a jump of 1.59m. On the men's side of the high jump,
Weston Kvalevog also took second-place with a jump of 1.90m.
In the men's pole vault,
Cameron Overmyer would finish in second-place with a height of 4.46m.
In the women's 1 mile run,
Sydney Wilkie would finish in third (5:43.81) and
Bridget Waterstradt would be right behind her in fourth (5:59.68). On the men's side,
Will Houvener finished in second-place with a time of 4:24.01.
Jaymes Vines placed fifth in the men's 60m dash with a time of 7.23s.
Emme Koutz would win the women's 800m run with a time of 2:15.24!
Michael Wright would win the men's 200m dash with a time of 22.49!
Isabelle Salazar took fourth in the women's 200m dash with a time of 28.49.
In the men's 4X400m relay, the squad of Vines,
Grant Clemens,
Asher Cousino, and Kvalevog would win it with a time of 3:28.17!
On Saturday, February 24 the track and field team will travel to Trine University for the MIAA Indoor Conference Championship!
