ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College men's and women's track and field teams would travel to Trine University for the MIAA Indoor Championship on Saturday. The men would take home a fifth-place finish while the women would take a sixth-place finish.
Michael Wright would take second in the men's 60m dash with a time of 6.93. Wright would also finish in third-place in the men's 200m with a time of 22.30.
Asher Cousino would finish in fourth-place in the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.59.
Jaymes Vines with a time of 50.99 would snag a fourth-place finish in the men's 400m.
Emme Koutz would continue her dominance in the women's 800m as she would bring Adrian a first-place finish with a time of 2:16.95.
Will Houvener would run an 8:51.89 time in the men's 3000m to finish in fifth place.
The 4X400m relay team of Wright, Cousino, Vines, and
Grant Clemens would have a fourth-place time of 3:30.28.
Theo Shepherd would jump 1.95m and finish in fourth-place for the Bulldogs in the men's high jump.
Ciara Heslet would win the women's high jump with a 1.63m final jump.
Cailey Beaudoin would finish right behind her with a jump of 1.60m.
Cameron Overmyer brought home first-place in the men's pole vault with a final vault of 4.45m as
Matthew Cunningham would finish in fifth with a 3.95m vault.
Adrian will travel to Ripon College for the Ripon Final Qualifier on March 1
st and 2
nd for their next meet!
