ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team held its home opener on Thursday afternoon against Concordia University Wisconsin. The Bulldogs fell in Thursday's contest, 139.400-113.425.
 
The Bulldogs totaled a 17.15 for the compulsory event while Concordia scored 27.25. In the Acro event, Adrian finished with 20.55 against Concordia Wisconsin's 21.65. In the acro event, the Bulldogs led the way in the 5-element scoring a 7.85 against Concordia Wisconsin's 7.20. In the pyramid event, the Bulldogs totaled 20.40 while Concordia Wisconsin finished with a 25.20. At halftime, Concordia Wisconsin led 74.10-58.10.
 
Adrian scored a 17.55 in the toss event while Concordia Wisconsin finished with a 23.60. In the tumbling event, the Bulldogs totaled a 37.775 against Concordia Wisconsin's 41.700. The Bulldogs tied the Falcons in the duo pass while coming away with a win in the aerial pass and the 6-element pass.
 
Due to injuries, neither team competed in the team event. The Bulldogs scored 113.425 points out of 159.600 available points while Concordia Wisconsin finished with 139.400 points of their available 172.900 points.
 
Adrian's next contest will be a Tri-Meet hosted at Trine University with Trine and Notre Dame College serving as the team's opponents. The next match is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 4:00 PM.
