ADA, Ohio -- The Adrian College track and field team traveled to Ohio Northern on Friday and Saturday as well as Hillsdale College for seven of the throwers.
ONU Meet: Men placed 2
nd out of 9 and the women placed 5
th out of 9 teams.
Michael Wright won the meet in the 100m with a time of 10.76s.
Asher Cousino ran a big personal best of 11.04 for 5th place in the 100m as well, moving him up to 6th All-Time for the Bulldogs. Wright also got 2nd in the 200m with a time of 21.93s.
Grant Clemens got 3rd in the 400m with a 50.80s time.
Alec Grzegorek got 3rd in the 800m with a time of 1:59.11.
Caleb Billings placed 4th in the 5000m with a time of 15:34. Cameron Overymyer won Pole Vault with a jump of 4.40m, with
Ethan DeBerry and
Matthew Cunningham following behind in 2nd and 5th.
Emme Koutz got 2nd in the 1500m with a time of 4:48 as
Ciara Heslet won the High Jump with a clearance of 1.56m.
Hillsdale Meet: No Team Scores
Seven of the track and field athletes competed well, but there were no personal bests.
Adrian will travel to Concordia University (Mich.) on April 26-27 for their next meet!
