ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Adrian College track and field team traveled to Concordia Ann Arbor for a two-day meet on Friday and Saturday. There were no team scores for this meet.
Concordia Meet Recap:
Mens Side: The 4x100 Relay team of
Jaymes Vines,
Grant Clemens,
Asher Cousino, and
Michael Wright won the meet in a great time of 42.05s.
Weston Kvalevog won High Jump on the day with a great jump of 1.92m.
Cameron Overmyer won Pole Vault with a jump of 4.55m. Kieth Scott earned 3rd place in Discus with a throw of 42.81m.
Will Houvener earned 3rd in the 1500m with a time of 4:02.99. Josh Trudell placed 3rd in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 57.97.
Women's Side: Emme Koutz won the 400m in a time 59.87 which was very close to the school record and does place her 2nd fastest in school history!
Ciara Heslet won High Jump with a clear of 1.60m.
No Team Scoring for this meet, the Bulldogs fared well in competing against other MIAA teams like Alma, Olivet, and Trine. As well as non-conference teams including Wayne State, Saginaw Valley, Concordia Ann Arbor, Madonna, Spring Arbor, Lansing CC, Siena Heights, Lourdes, and Rochester (MI).
The Bulldogs will travel to the Knights of Calvin University for their next meet on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4!
