ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletic Director, Craig Rainey, announced the hiring of Erin Aurand as head coach of the Adrian College dance team earlier this week. Aurand returns to the Bulldogs after serving as a member of the team for 2018-22 where she choreographed multiple halftime performances and served as team captain from 2019-22.
Aurand graduated from Adrian College in 2022 where she majored in exercise science with a minor in business administration. From 2021-22, Aurand was a coach and choreographer from Evolve Dance Company where she planned workout and technique classes in addition to choreographing routines for competitions and recitals.
In 2022, she was a private solo choreographer for Christian Cheerleaders of America where she put together a National Title winning routine. Also in 2022, Aurand was named head coach of the Madison High School Dance Team where she held the position through the 2023-24 school year, and recruited incoming high school freshman to the team.
Aurand will take over for Kaylie Simpson and will begin her coaching responsibilities immediately for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
