Dance Team Earn Fourth Place Finish at College Classic Nationals in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Adrian College dance team earned their highest placing at Nationals in program history this past weekend, placing fourth at the College Classic Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

The dance team delivered a standout performance at this year's National Championships, earning their highest placement in program history and bringing home a trophy for the first time. After a strong showing in the preliminary round on Saturday, the team scored an impressive 81.18, securing 3rd place among a competitive field. Determined to build on that success, the team bounced back in the finals on Sunday, elevating their performance to achieve a final score of 83.92, ultimately finishing in 4th place.

This competitive season was not without its challenges," noted Head Coach, Erin Aurand '22. "We started our routine with 10 dancers and ended with 7, due to injuries. The team did nothing but keep a positive attitude after changing the routine three times, with the third time being less than a month from nationals. The team faced a lot of adversity, but they rose to the occasion every time and I couldn't be prouder of them. This was our first time going to The College Classic Nationals in Orlando and we are so excited to be back next year! We are excited for what next season will bring and to welcome new Adrian College Dance Team members."

The Adrian College dance team ends its historic 2024-25 season which included the first regional championship in program history, a second place regional finish, and a top-five placing at Nationals.
