DETROIT, Mich. -- The Adrian College dance team collected another impressive regional competition finish this past weekend, placing second at the Dance Team Union regional in Detroit on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are coming off the program's first regional championship victory, after finishing first at the winter Dance Team Union regional back in December.
Adrian followed up their crown with another top-two placing, finishing as the runners-up to Wayne State University, a DII program. The team scored a total of 77.47 points, only one behind Wayne State, who had 78.47.
Head Coach,
Erin Aurand '22, stressed, yet again, how proud she is of her team's performances so far this season:
"I'm extremely proud of our team for having a month off of dance due to Winter Break & coming back strong! It's a huge accomplishment for us to only be one point behind a DII dance team. We left the competition very encouraged by the judges feedback and are ready to perfect our routine for the upcoming National competition."Â
Take in some Dance Team action at numerous Adrian College Men's and Women's Basketball games throughout the Spring semester as they prepare for their National Competition set to take place in April.
