ADRIAN, MICH.- Adrian College is proud to announce the appointment of Brittany Newsom '19 (formerly known as B. Archambeau) as the new head coach for the Acrobatics and Tumbling team.

Newsom graduated from Adrian in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and was a standout member of the Acrobatics and Tumbling squad from 2015 to 2019. Her dedication and leadership on the mat earned her the prestigious titles of 2019 MVP, Leadership Award recipient and the 2018 & 2019 Top Female Athlete Nominee.

Newsom's coaching journey began at the Exceleration Gymnastics Center, where she served as a competitive cheer coach from 2013 to 2016. She returned to Adrian College in 2020 as an assistant coach and athletic trainer for the Bulldogs, contributing significantly to the program's success.

Payton Young '23 will remain on staff as an assistant coach and will be in charge of recruiting.
