Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell to the University of Minnesota in the first round of the regional tournament.
This season's roster is composed of three graduate students, one senior, five juniors, ten sophomores, and ten freshmen. This roster features a distinctive group of student-athletes ranging across North America and Europe, including Michigan (18), Ohio (1), Illinois (3), Wisconsin (2), New York (1), the Canadian Providences of Ontario (1), and Quebec (1) and the European Country of The Czech Republic (2).
"I've been looking forward to the beginning of this season, for what feels like an eternity, and I couldn't be happier with where we are to begin the season," said Head Coach
Brennon Wachter, who enters his third season at the helm of the ACHA MD2 Bulldogs.
"Being able to bring back such a strong core, and add a talented incoming class is always exciting. This group is motivated and eager to start this season off on the right foot."
The MD2 Bulldogs open their season on Friday, October 4th with a 8:15 PM puck drop against the University of Denison at the Lou & Gib Reese Ice Arena in Newark, Ohio.
