ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey program is proud to announce that Seniors
Shaun Potts and
Griffin Clark have been named Co-Captains for the upcoming 2025-2026 campaign. In addition, the team has announced its Assistant Captains, naming
Greg Obrycki and
Michael Tucker as their counterparts.
Potts returns to the captaincy role after standing as the team's lone Captain last season. Over his first three years with the Bulldogs, the Liberty Township, Ohio native has provided 19 goals and 52 assists in 77 games played as a force on the back end.
Clark, who wore an 'A' one season ago, will make the jump to Captain and wear the other 'C' alongside Potts. Over his Bulldog tenure, the Saline, Michigan product has tallied 20 goals and 28 assists in 65 games played up front, while illustrating a trusted leadership model.
Obrycki, a Senior from Trenton, Michigan, remains an Assistant Captain, after holding said position last season. In three seasons at Adrian, Obrycki has managed to score 22 goals and 25 assists in 77 games played as a forward, while also adding significant value in the face-off dot.
Tucker, who resides from Flushing, Michigan, will don a letter for the first time in his career as a Junior. After two solid seasons to begin his Bulldog career, the speedy forward holds 10 goals and 11 assists in 42 games played, including 3 short-handed markers, speaking to his effectiveness on special teams.
"I am looking forward to working with these guys and continuing to build our program up the ladder," said newly-hired Head Coach,
Tyler Cataline.
"Three of these gentlemen were captains last year, so they have the experience to lead this team. Tucker will be in his first year with a letter. He will bring a lot of positivity into the room this year. We have a great group this upcoming season in our room and I am very excited to get things going in the Fall."
Coach Cataline also noted that the team will name an additional Assistant Captain once the season begins.
The MD2 Bulldogs have qualified for the ACHA Central Regional Tournament for the last three seasons, but have not returned to the ACHA National Tournament since 2021. Under their new bench boss, the squad will look to climb their way back up the mountain in hopes of returning to the national tournament stage.
