FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday, with four Adrian College student-athletes earning honors. Noah Beaudrie of the football team was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week, while Jack Boike also of the football team, was recognized as MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week. The men's soccer team swept both offensive and defensive Player of the Week with Kyle Jennings earning offensive and Kyle Peterson earning defensive.
Beaudrie, a quarterback, stood out Saturday during Adrian's 48-17 victory over Calvin. He recorded three touchdowns, while completing 25-of-33 passes for 322 yards, and also rushing for 36 yards and three more scores. Boike, a kicker, added a 26-yard field goal and a 23 yard field goal. The no. 25 Bulldogs still remain undefeated and sit at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in MIAA play.
Jennings, a forward, stood out in Saturday's soccer match during Adrian's 3-2 victory over Alma. He scored two of the three goals Saturday, while recording five shots on goal. On Wednesday against Albion, he recorded three shots on goal. On the defensive side, Peterson tallied himself a goal against Albion and recorded two shots on goal. The Bulldogs sit at a 4-10-1 overall record and 2-1-1 in MIAA.
