ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team will hit the road on Saturday evening to Trine University for the first round of the MIAA Conference Playoff Tournament. The No. 6 seeded Bulldogs will kick-off against the No. 3 seeded Thunder at 7:00 PM EST on November 1.
The Bulldogs wrapped up their regular season and conference play earlier this week with a loss to Calvin University, the MIAA Regular Season Champions. Adrian completed their 2025 campaign with a 6-11-1 overall record and a 3-5 conference record.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs during the regular season was senior forward,
Annamarie Fosmoen, who finished with 9 goals, 2 assists, and 78 shot attempts in 18 games played. Following Fosmoen, sophomore defender Delany Batur racked up 3 goals, 5 assists, and 28 shot attempts in 18 games played this season, while senior midfield
Alanna Earl tallied 4 goals, 2 assists, and 29 shot attempts in 18 games played in this 2025 slate.
These two teams clashed just a few weeks ago, with the Bulldogs falling to the Thunder 1-0 with a second half goal.
Head Coach,
Nathan Kronewetter spoke about his thoughts on the regular season and what he expects with his squad in this first round game:
"We feel fortunate to be in this position to compete in the playoffs after letting several games get away from us this season. I believe this group has the ability to compete and challenge for advancement if and when we play connected and efficiently in all phases of our game. We have this opportunity to play together for at least one more time and we need to take full advantage of this challenge."
