ADRIAN, Mich. – The USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews released their Week 4 polls on Monday afternoon for NCAA Division III women's hockey, and the Adrian College women's team has climbed to No. 8 in both rankings following a dominant road sweep of Lawrence University. The Bulldogs now stand at 6-2-0 overall and a perfect 6-0-0 in NCHA play.
Adrian defeated Lawrence 7–0 and 8–1 over the weekend, led by Riley Johnson, who scored five goals and added an assist to earn NCHA Stars of the Week honors. Emma Simon contributed one goal and four assists, while Courtney Ben recorded three goals and an assist. Paige Pomerleau added a goal and three assists to round out the Bulldogs' strong offensive performance.
Despite suffering their first loss of the season, UW–River Falls remains No. 1 in both national polls. NCHA rival St. Norbert College holds the No. 7 spot with a 6-2-0 record, while Concordia Wisconsin is receiving votes in both rankings.
The Bulldogs return to action on the road December 5–6 when they travel to Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
