ADRIAN, Mich. - The National Club Softball Association (NCSA) announced its weekly awards, with Adrian College sweeping the honors as Anjelica Bolivar was named Pitcher of the Week and Hayden Cutler earned Player of the Week recognition.
The awards come after a historic weekend for the Bulldogs, who recorded their first-ever series sweep over Central Michigan University.
Cutler led the way offensively, going 6-for-8 with a double, two triples, six runs batted in, and four runs scored. She also showcased her speed on the base paths, stealing two bases in the sweep.
Bolivar anchored the Bulldogs' pitching staff with two appearances, including one start, tossing 5.2 innings while allowing just four runs and striking out one. Her steady presence in the circle played a key role in Adrian's success throughout the weekend.
It was a milestone series for the Bulldogs, highlighted by strong performances and national recognition for two of their standout players.
