ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's wrestling team is gearing up to send Aiden Smith and Blake Williams to the NCAA DIII National Championships on Friday and Saturday in Providence, Rhode Island.

Aiden Smith has been a force to be reckoned with all season, compiling an outstanding 28-1 overall record. His dominant performance earned him the prestigious title of 2025 MIAA Most Valuable Wrestler, finishing conference duals with a flawless 4-0 record. Smith's remarkable run saw him claim titles at both the Adrian Invite and the Messiah Petrofes Invitational earlier this season.

Continuing his dominance, Smith stormed through the NCAA DIII Region V tournament undefeated, securing the regional championship and becoming just the second Bulldog to achieve this feat since 2016. His name is now etched in the program's record books, as he ranks in the top 10 for most single-season wins, currently tied for seventh with 28. Additionally, he sits second all-time in tech falls for a season and is now tied for the seventh most major decisions in a single season with four.

Blake Williams also enters the NCAA DIII National Championships with an impressive 28-4 overall record and a solid 2-1 mark in conference duals. Williams captured the title at the Adrian Invite and secured a third-place finish at both the Millikin Open and the Messiah Petrofes Invitational.
Williams dominated the NCAA DIII Region V tournament, going undefeated to claim the regional championship, becoming just the third Bulldog in program history to achieve the honor.

Together, Aiden Smith and Blake Williams made Bulldog history, marking the first time the program has produced two regional champions at the NCAA DIII Region V tournament.

Smith and Williams are on the mat on Friday, March 14 at 10:00 AM for the first round of the NCAA DIII National Championships.
