WESTERVILLE, Ohio. - The Adrian College track and field squad took a trip to Otterbein College to compete in the Otterbein Twilight meet where multiple Bulldogs had notable finishes.
Men's Highlights:
The men's team secured 14th-place team finish with 18 points.

Ryan Morris battled to an 11th-place finish in the 3,000m steeplechase, clocking a time of 10:31.28.

In the mile run, Will Houvener crossed the line in 4:29.95, earning ninth place.

Jackson Hayward also claimed ninth in the 400m dash with a swift 49.56.

Alec Grzegorek recorded a time of 2:00.05 in the 800m run, finishing 18th.

In the 400m hurdles, Asher Cousino placed 13th with a time of 59.59.

In the pole vault, Cameron Overmyer and Willem Evenson both cleared 4.31m (14-1.75) to tie for a strong seventh-place finish.

Matthew Cunningham impressed in the javelin, securing fifth place with a throw of 45.42m (149-00).

The 4x400m relay squad closed out the day with a sixth-place finish, posting a time of 3:27.64.
Women's Highlights:
The women's team secured 11th place overall with 14 points and several top performances.

Vivian Vallarsa competed in both hurdle events, finishing 13th in the 100m hurdles (17.53) and 14th in the 400m hurdles (1:14.59).

The 4x100m relay team had a standout performance, racing to a third-place finish with a time of 52.08.

Jilexi Velasquez placed 12th in the mile with a time of 6:01.39.

In the 5000m run, Bridget Waterstradt earned 14th place, crossing the line in 20:05.14.

Alysia Townsend soared to a second-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.63m (5-4.25), while Ciara Heslet added a 12th-place mark of 1.45m (4-9.00).

In throws, Mallory Platzer placed 17th in the discus (30.38m / 99-8.00) and 15th in the javelin (20.22m / 66-4.00).
Adrian is back in action on Tuesday, April 22 where the multis group will head to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the MIAA Outdoor Championships. The multis will compete in a two day event on Tuesday and Wednesday. The meet is set to start at 11:00 AM.
