MARYBURY, Md. – The Adrian College bass fishing team delivered a strong performance at the MLF (Major League Fishing) event held Sunday on the Potomac River in Maryland. Competing against a field of 42 boats, the Bulldogs placed three teams in the top five.

Ryan Kahut and Brady Osborn led the way, claiming first place with a five-fish total weighing 14 pounds, 11 ounces. Close behind, Braylon Eggerding and Brady Pinwar secured second place with 13 pounds, 7 ounces. Derek Rodriguez and Nicholas Seitz rounded out the top finishes for Adrian, earning fourth place with a total weight of 12 pounds, 15 ounces.

Three more Bulldog teams landed in the top 20:

• Henri Sturm and Lucas Washburn finished 12th with 11 pounds even.

• Hoyt Nicely and Wesson Vint placed 14th with 10 pounds, 13 ounces.

• Cole Carr and Henry Vincent came in 18th with 9 pounds, 14 ounces.

As a result of their continued success, Adrian now boasts six teams qualified for the upcoming MLF National Championship. The qualifying teams are:

• Quade Lobo & Gavyn Rapp

• Brady Osborn & Ryan Kahut

• Nick Seitz & Derek Rodriguez

• Braylon Eggerding & Brady Pinwar

The Bulldogs' next competition is set for September 20–21 at Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee. The MLF National Championship is scheduled for Spring 2026, with an exact date still to be announced.
