MARSHALL, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team opened MIAA conference play on Monday afternoon, competing in the first Jamboree of the season. The event, hosted by Albion College, was held at Marshall Country Club. The Bulldogs posted a team score of 304, placing them third overall after the opening round of conference competition.

Jack Vogel led both Adrian and the entire field, carding an impressive 69 to finish at 2-under par for the day. He totaled six birdies and shot a 33 on the back nine to claim individual medalist honors.

Mason Gurney added a top-10 finish for the Bulldogs, tying for eighth with a round of 75. Carter Klawonn followed with a 79, while Michael Shubeck and Jaden Eggers each shot 81.

Simone Foreman competed as an individual for Adrian, finishing the day with a score of 86.

The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, September 25, when they head to the Medalist Golf Club for the second MIAA Jamboree of the season.
