ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's club volleyball team hosted its annual Adrian College Tournament, welcoming several programs to campus for a full day of competition. The Bulldogs finished the tournament strong, earning two wins over Wayne State University and the University of Michigan–Flint.
Adrian opened play against Saginaw Valley State University in its first two matchups, dropping the contests 2–0 and 2–1. The Bulldogs then faced Saint Mary's College, where they fell in straight sets, 2–0.
Despite the early setbacks, Adrian showed resilience down the stretch. The Bulldogs rebounded in their final two matches, defeating Wayne State in straight sets before closing the tournament with a 2–0 victory over the University of Michigan–Flint.
Offensively, Madison Bartlett led the Bulldogs with 22 kills, followed closely by Olivia Grimpo with 19 and Lindsay Bergman with 11. Defensively, Jersey Patton anchored the back row with 23 digs. From the service line, Cailey White delivered a dominant performance with 13 aces, while Bergman and Grimpo each added 10.
