GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Adrian College acrobatics & tumbling team opened up their 2026 season on the road Tuesday night with a victory over Calvin University, 118.700–98.400.
The Bulldogs opened the meet strong in the Compulsory event, posting a total score of 19.500. Adrian earned solid marks in the acro (5.050), pyramid (7.400), and toss (7.050) heats, taking an early lead before Calvin responded in later events.
In the Acro event, Adrian recorded a combined score of 21.050 across three heats, highlighted by matching 7.700 scores in Heats 1 and 2. The Bulldogs continued to build momentum in the Pyramid event, earning 24.950, their highest event total of the night, with strong execution across all three heats.
The Bulldogs followed with a consistent showing in the Toss event, totaling 23.000. Adrian posted its top toss score of 7.950 in Heat 1, maintaining pressure as the meet progressed.
Adrian closed the night in the Tumbling event, scoring 30.200 across six heats. The Bulldogs earned key contributions in Heats 1, 4, and 6, with Heat 6 producing a team-high 7.150.
The Bulldogs acrobatics & tumbling team open up their season 1-0 and look to continue Saturday, February 21 at Concordia Wisconsin.
