DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's ACHA Division I team delivered a dominant performance, skating past Michigan-Dearborn 6–1 in CCWHA quarterfinals Friday afternoon before falling closely to Indiana Tech 4-3 in semifinals Saturday evening.

Adrian set the tone early and never looked back, outshooting Michigan 48–17 over the course of the game, including a 20-shot third period that put the contest out of reach. The Bulldogs wasted little time getting on the board. At 12:46 of the opening frame, senior Genessie Williams struck to make it 1–0, finishing off a setup from juniors Chloe Gregory and Taryn Morris. Just 44 seconds later, senior Tyla Turnbull doubled the lead at 13:30, converting a feed from Morris to give Adrian a commanding 2–0 advantage heading into the intermission. Graduate student Hailey Wiltshire extended the Bulldogs lead at 1:58 of the second period, finishing a play set up from senior Ava Seychel and Turnbull. Michigan cut into the deficit in the second period with a power-play goal at 6:05, but Adrian answered quickly and emphatically. Senior Taylor Robinson extended the lead to 4–1 at 8:09, capitalizing on assists from Gregory and Seychel. The Bulldogs put the game away in the third. Gregory scored just seconds into the period to make it 5–1, finishing a pass from Williams. Midway through the frame, junior Sophie Kuzminski added a power-play goal at 6:00, with assists credited to Morris and Addison Scoville, capping the scoring at 6–1. In net, junior Taylor Kinkade turned aside 16 of 17 shots for the win, steady between the pipes as Adrian improves to the CCWHA semifinal game. 

The Bulldogs struck first midway through the opening period when Robinson found the back of the net at the 10:07 mark, with Williams and Gregory picking up assists. Indiana Tech answered just over three minutes later to even the score, but Adrian regained the lead late in the first as Williams scored unassisted at 17:46. The Warriors responded again before the break, sending the teams into intermission tied 2–2. Indiana Tech took its first lead of the night early in the second period, scoring 1:19 into the frame. Adrian answered back at 15:32 as Robinson netted her second goal of the game, assisted by freshmen Addison Scoville and Williams, knotting the contest at 3–3 heading into the third. The decisive goal came early in the final period when Indiana Tech scored at the 1:34 mark. Despite outshooting the Warriors 38–20 overall and applying sustained pressure throughout the third, the Bulldogs were unable to find the equalizer. Sophomore Olivia Towpich started in net for the Bulldogs making 14 saves on 18 shots before Graduate student Rieley Jessie-Gerelli saved 2 out of 2 shots on goal from the Warriors.
