ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The ACHA announced the All-Tournament Team for the Men's Division 1 Tournament on Monday. The Adrian College ACHA Men's Division 1 hockey team had three members earn First Team All-Tournament honors, one member earn Second Team honors, and two earn Honorable Mention status.
Leading the way on First Team are goalie
Peyton Trzaska, defenseman
Cale Strasky, and forward
Sebastian Smith. Trzaska led the Bulldogs with a 4-1 record leading all goalies in the tournament in wins. He also finished the tournament with a1.19 goals against average and a tournament high 157 saves with a .963 save percentage with a shutout.
On defense, Strasky finished the tournament with a goal and three assists for four points for the Bulldogs. With the help of Strasky on defense, the Bulldogs killed off 11 power plays during the tournament. At forward, Smith finished the tournament with four goals and three assists for seven points in the tournament including a shorthanded goal and the game winning goal in overtime in the Semifinal game against UNLV.
Earning Second Team honors is forward
Eli Reimer. Reimer finished the tournament with three goals and two assists for five points including one game winning goal. Forward
Matteo Turrin claimed Honorable Mention status with three goals and one assists along with forward
Hunter Allen who finished the tournament with three goals and two assists for five points.
Adrian finished the season with a 32-7-2 overall record on the year and was the National Runner-Up in the ACHA Men's Division 1 National Tournament.
